Advances in Filmless X-Radiography

Presenter: Steve Zahorodny
X-ray Testing Machines and Digital Conversion Manager
NAFTA General Electric (Agfa)

We have scheduled a special, DAYTIME demonstration meeting at the Lockheed Martin, Waterton facility.

We will be demonstrating a GE Rhythm High-Resolution Digital Imaging Workstation with a GE CR50P Computed Radiography (CR) scanner. The GE CR50P scanner offers the following features: (a) 50-micron scanning, (b) 16-bit data acquisition, (c) handles up to 14" wide and "unlimited" length imaging plates, (d) scans multiple smaller width imaging plates simultaneously creating independent digital images, (e) extremely light/portable, etc. The same GE Rhythm software platform operates our film digitizers and amorphous silicon flat panel DR detectors.

We will also be demonstrating the GE IPS high resolution-phosphor imaging plates. We would be happy to perform actual test exposures on any possible Lockheed or 3rd party X-ray applications

We will supply a sandwich lunch at 12:00 noon (Friday, 9 February) for those who can join us for lunch followed by a short introduction and demonstration of the FILMLESS media transfer / digital imaging system and the high resolution phosphor imaging plates. The GE portable phased array ultrasonic unit will also be available for your examination.

We have scheduled this demonstration at the Lockheed Martin, Waterton facility to enable exposure and imaging on your parts that you may want to bring (320KV X-ray machine). Please bring parts for demonstration. NOTE THE LOCATION!!!!
